About our partner
On behalf of our partner, Smurfit Westrock, we are looking for the best talent to join Rindus. Smurfit Westrock is an FTSE 100 company and one of the world’s leading providers of paper-based packaging, with operations in 40 countries and more than 500 packaging converting plants. With the company’s headquarters in the Netherlands, you will work as part of a newly established distributed team from our office in Málaga.
What you'll be doing
To support the ongoing development of Smurfit Westrock’s internal business application—which manages sales, billing, logistics, and shipping processes—we are looking for a Software Engineer to join the development team located at the rindus office in Málaga. In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of the platform by developing new modules and maintaining existing ones.

Some of the responsibilities are:
  • Work as a team player in a distributed team, following Agile methodology within an international working environment
  • Participate in all the steps of the software development cycle, being involved in technical decisions from day 1
  • Create new modules and maintain the existing ones to expand the functionality of the application
  • Cooperate with the rest of the team members: Software Engineers, Software Architectures, Managers, Product Designer, QA’s and Team Lead to achieve new challenges.
What you'll bring
  • Very good coding skills in C# and .NET with at least 5 years of experience
  • Ability and willingness to learn and contribute to frontend development, with previous frontend experience—ideally with Angular—considered a strong plus
  • Professional experience with Visual Studio as IDE
  • Good knowledge and working experience with SQL databases
  • xUnit for Unit testing
  • Experience working with GraphQL, preferably using the HotChocolate library.
  • Hands-on experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, ideally using frameworks like MassTransit.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Azure Application Insights for monitoring, logging, and performance analysis.
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools for coding and unit testing tasks (e.g., GitHub Copilot) would be considered a plus.
  • Practice in writing well-structured, efficient and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base in check
  • Passionate about building software products with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Used to work in an English-speaking environment
