About our partner
On behalf of our partner StiboDX, we are looking for the best talent to join rindus. Stibo DX is a market leader In digital asset management, content creation, and publishing platforms for the media industry.
Every day, more than 800 media brands across five continents rely on Stibo DX’s platforms to create and publish content. Their systems ensure efficient and consistent publishing of more than 600 websites and thousands of daily print publications worldwide. You will work in a distributed new team from our office in Málaga.
What you'll be doing
We are looking for an innovative and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join a newly
formed team dedicated to developing a planning product that will be used by the biggest
media brands in the world.
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining a SaaS solution that will shape the
way content and assets are planned and managed in the media industry.
You will collaborate with a global team of experts, employing Agile methodologies and the
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to deliver high-quality software that meets the dynamic
needs of journalists and editors worldwide.
Some of the responsibilities are:
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Contribute to the development of a robust, scalable, and user-friendly planning product, integrating seamessly with existing systems and interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design features, and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve the product and development processes.
What you'll bring
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be expected to demonstrate a high level of expertise and a deep understanding of technology to lead our development initiatives. For this role, the following skills and experience are required:
- Java: Demonstrated experience in building high-performance, scalable applications using Java is essential.
- Kafka (or similar technologies): Strong knowledge about Kafka is preferred, or experience with comparable messaging and stream-processing systems.
- Solr: Solid understanding of Solr and its application in building complex search capabilities within large-scale systems.
- Kong (or similar technologies): Experience with Kong or similar API gateways.
- AWS: Proven experience with AWS.
- Fluent English
The ideal candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of software development
methodologies, preferably Agile/SAFe, and have excellent problem-solving,
communication, and teamwork skills.
